Work with the Division of Interpretation to create and present up to three interpretive and/or science-based educational programs. The intern will receive training on how to develop an interpretive program and will lead guided walks and Junior Ranger presentations. Applicants should have coursework in biology, environmental studies and other related fields, entry level skills in public speaking and outreach, and a strong interest in working with youth and adults in the out-of-doors. The park is at high elevation, though the hiking for programs is typically not strenuous.
