My name is Matt and I’m in love with all things aquatic! I grew up in middle Georgia, in the heart of the peach belt, and developed a love for wildlife at an early age. Among some of my favorite things to do is fly-fishing the various Piedmont rivers of Georgia for anything that swims, along with exploring the pine woods of the Southeast.
Working this summer with Great Smoky Mountains National Park, I am very excited to encounter and become familiar with many of the native fishes that can be found inhabiting the streams of the Appalachian mountains! I’m grateful for this opportunity and I look forward to sharing my experiences!
