Mosaics in Science Diversity Internship Program is special in many ways. I am Susan Bonfield, the Director of Environment for the Americas. As a biologist and educator, I love the opportunities MIS provides you to meet professionals in the National Park Service, to work in some of America’s most spectacular places, and to meet other youth who share your passions. In the weeks to come, we look forward to getting to know you, your supervisors, and your projects. We also hope to meet you in person during site visits and to wrap up the experience together in Washington, D.C. during your career workshop. You will be amazed at how quickly these weeks will go by.
